Summer is almost here, which means we are starting field work. This week, Anna and I were in Michigan surveying the experiment at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It was still a little chilly up there, but we had a few sunny days of work.

I have officially moved from my postdoc at Washington University to a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry. During the transition, I spent some time “studying” the coast of Belize. Now that the relaxation is over, I’m excited to get my lab running!
In other news, congratulations to Caitlin for harvesting her senior thesis project!

Up and Running
Website – reestablished! Instead of a regular website, I opted for a blog-style type website. My hope is that I’ll update this much more often than my old website. More updates soon to come.
